MAC Pressed Blot Powder

HELLO GIRLS...
Today, I'm reviewing  MAC blot powder pressed. I've been using this blot power for several years, I guess 2.5 years :) and this is my second pan. I'm NC35, initially I got it in "medium" but it was too light for me shade so, this time I got it in "dark" shade. Because sometime I don't feels like to wear foundation specially in summer so, for those day I've totally different makeup routine.
What I does... apply my clinique sunscreen READ HERE and Lancome cancealer on blemish and after that apply MAC blot powder and I'm done. :)

Packaging...
It comes in a round black compact with a mirror and sponge that does work well for touch ups. It is sturdy and travel friendly.

According to MAC (Taken from MAC website)...
A unique pressed powder designed primarily to provide shine control without adding any noticeable colour or texture. Sets foundation, finishes faces. For use in professional situations and for frequent touch-ups. Blot Powder contains Mica and Silica to absorb excess oils and reduce shine on the skin's surface. Can be applied with the puff that comes in the compact or with a powder brush like #129 Powder/Blush Brush. Perfect for touching up Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation throughout the day.

Quick Review...
  • Blot powder is sheer, and looks invisible when you put it on.
  • It doesn't add any color,no weighted or caked look.
  • Control shine for 4-5 hours.
  • It helps to tone down a foundation that appears too dewy,it provides natural shine control.
  • It can be use tone down a blush that is too bright or has been too heavily applied.
  • It makes your face matte.
  • It is good for setting liquid foundations.
  • It is available in 5 shades.
  • For cold weather it pretty much stays matte on my face for 5-6 hours but it slides off easily in hotter weather.
  • It doesn't break me out.
