DIY ~ Coffee Body Scrub

Today I'm sharing homemade coffee body scrub, there is nothing better than learning about budget spa, mask and face packs, you don't have to spend too much money on all those products when you have all those things in your kitchen.

Why coffee...

  •  Coffee is loaded with antioxidants, which can prevent premature skin aging.
  • Caffeine in coffee scrub can make your cuticles temporarily less noticeable.
  • Caffeine also tighten up cells and blood vessels.
  •  Caffeine scrubs significantly reduce the irritation and redness.
  •  Coffee is a natural exfoliator which remove the dead, dry cells that collect on the outer surface of the skin.
  • Coffee buffs unwanted dead, dry cells off and provide us soft, healthy natural glowing skin.

Things you need...

  • coffee beans fresh or used(I'm using used one) 3tbs
  • lemon juice 1tbs
  • honey 2 tbs
  • a bowl
  • a spoon

How to prepare...

  • take a bowl and add 3tbs of coffee beans
  • add 1tbs of lemon juice
  • add 2tbs of honey
  • mix it well

How to use/apply...
Take the scrub on your palm and apply it in circular motion, focus on the cuticle area and dry skin. Don't rub too hard. Wash with warm water and pat dry with a cotton towel. Follow with moisturizer.

Note ~ This is a body scrub, not a facial scrub. Do not use this recipe on your face, coffee beans may be bit hard on your face. You can check my coffee face mask recipe HERE
