Rimmel Scandaleyes Shadow stick ~ review, pictures & swatch

Hello girls...Let me start by saying these "Rimmel Scandaleyes Shadow Sticks" are must have for you if you are into eye makeup. These sticks are super easy to work with, they are easy to blend, incredible pigmented, soft and creamy in texture. I really love that I can easily draw them on my lid and blend them with my finger. I can use them as an eyeliner too. These sticks are glides on without any tugging and pulling, they feel really smooth and soft on eyes. They are fairly easy to blend with finger or brush. You don't really need layering with these, you will get true color in single swipe.

I love all the shades except "Whiteness White" it is extremely soft and tricky to use, I think a matte white would have been much better instead of pearly white.

I love using "Blackmail" "Tempting turquoise" and "Blamed blue" as an eyeliner. These shades are perfect to use on your upper lash line as well as lower lash line.

I love using" Guilt Grey" "Bad girl bronze"and "Blackmail" for smokey eyes, they are perfect to create smokey look.

How to line your lips ~ Tutorial

 Hello beautiful ladies...

Hope you liked the post and don't forget to leave your valuable comments...

Wearable ombre lips ~ Tutorial

These days, it's all about the ombre lips. But what exactly is it? Ombre means having two shades that are monochromatic or in other words it is a very similar gradation of color that evolves from lightest to darkest shade.

I really wanted to wear ombre lips but not something dramatic one...and here is my version of ombre lips.

step 1. scrub, moisturize and conceal your lips.

step 2. carefully line your lips with a darkest or brown lip pencil and pull the pencil slightly more towards to the centre of your lips.

step 3. now apply a darker shade over it and blend it with a lip brush.

step 4. apply a lighter shade of in the same color family or a white pencil(like NYX jumbo pencil in milk) in middle of your lips.

step 5. carefully blend both shades with a lip brush.

step 6. now apply foundation or canceler around your lips to clean the mess, make sure blend the foundation properly.

Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stain,India Intrigue ~ review, swatch and picture

Hello girls...today I'm reviewing newly launch "Revlon color stay moisture stain" in shade 001 "India Intrigue". I wasn't planing to buy any of these moisture stain because one of my friend told me that these gloss are very thick and has weird smell but when I saw "India intrigue" I couldn't resist and bought this only because of its name "INDIA" intrigue. These moisture stains claim to give the shine of a gloss, moisture of a balm, longevity of a stain and pigmentation of lipstick.

It comes in a sleek black packaging with see through body and on top it has a screw type cap. Overall packaging is kind of appealing.

Water, Octyldodecanol, Polyglyceryl-2 Diisostearate, Butylene Glycol, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Oleosomes, Stearyl Alcohol, Alcohol Denat., Ethylcellulose, Acrylates/Ethylhexyl Acrylate/HEMA Copolymer, Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone, Hexyl Laurate, Polyglyceryl-4 Isostearate, Glycerin, Acrylates/Diethylaminoethyl Methacrylate/Ethylhexyl Acrylate Copolymer, Xanthan Gum, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Panthenol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Parfum (Fragrance), BHT, Tetrasodium EDTAm,Ethylhexylglycerin, Benzyl Alcohol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, Benzyl Benzoate, Limonene, Linalool, Hexyl Cinnamal.

May Contain: Mica, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Red 28 Lake (CI 45410), Red 33 (CI 17200), Yellow 5 Lake (CI 19140), Red 33 Lake (CI 17200), Red 7 Lake (CI 15850:1), Red 40 (CI 16035), Yellow 5 (CI 19140), Yellow 6 (CI 15985), Red 6 Lake (CI 15850), Blue 1 (CI 42090), Blue 1 Lake (CI 42090), Yellow 6 Lake (CI 15985).

001 India Intrigue ($9.99 for 0.27 fl oz) ~ it is a deep magenta shade with a slight hint of purple.

I really like the brush shape,it is wide from back and pointed from front. It picks up the perfect amount of product and pointed tip helps fill in the lips without going out.

Texture and formula...
Texture of these moisture stain is very thick,it is more like a liquid lip balm kind of texture or you can say it is somewhere between liquid lipstick and lip stain balm. It has a hint of sheen finish but nothing terribly glossy finish(I hate too much of glossy or shiny finish). It feels quite thick on lips and a little weird smell like fevicol.

The formula is incredible pigmented like liquid lipsticks. It is not exactly a lightweight formula but it is not drying out my lips. It feels like a moisture balm to me. I found that the application is patchy, uneven and heavy.

Application tip...
You can't apply these moisture stain like a normal lip gloss or lip satin, to apply evenly you have to take time pushing and smoothing them over the lip until your body heat melt them into even opaque finish.

  • available in 12 shades
  • creamy texture
  • moisture rich formula
  • sturdy packaging
  • true to color
  • excellent pigmentation
  • seen finish
  • decent wear time
  • travel friendly
  • easily available

heavy texture
uneven application
weird smell(but it's not very strong smell)
huge list of ingredients
doesn't leave any stain

NYX Lip Liner Pencil ~ review, picture and swatch

Hello girls...today I'm reviewing NYX lip liner pencils. I got this amazing set of 6 pencils from Amazon , actually I got them because of awesome price tag hehe...$13 something and on top of that I had $12 rewards points in my account that's means I paid only $1 yes $1 for 6 pencils. The cost of 1 pencil from a regular cosmetic store is about the same price as this entire set, depending on where you find them they can retail between $1 to $3.50

A lip liner is most important part of anyone's makeup kit. The most common use of the is to prevent lipstick from bleeding. I love using lip liners as a base whenever I feel like making my lip gloss stand out and it makes the lip gloss stay a bit longer.

These pencils are available in 60 shades... yes, 60 shades. I got six of them in neutral shade(from pink to brown). The colors are neutrals, some of them do look similar to one other. These pencils are exceptionally creamy and glides on easily without tugging and pulling my lips. The consistency of these lip liners are on the matte side but they glide very easily. These pencils are excellently pigmented. They also wear well without feeling dry, I get a good 7 plus hours wear if lips are fully shade in with lipstick on top.
